Dance Through the Ages

$50 for non-members per 6-week session
$45 for members per 6-week session

Dance Through the Ages will take you on a trip through musical time.  You will learn dance steps from different genres. Try your hand at jazz, sock hop, rock, and swing, to name a few! Have fun with others while learning to move with rhythm. Bring a friend or meet new friends enjoying the sounds of musical favorites.

The instructor is Sarah Spurling.  Sarah comes with so much experience working with organizations like Pones, Mutual Arts, CCA, and many local schools, libraries, and rec centers in Ohio, Kentucky, and Texas. Sarah will make you feel right at home teaching basic dance steps and routines. Class is appropriate for any level, beginners to advanced.

Register for the 6-week session for $50 or come when you can and pay a $10 drop-in fee. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. 

Class is held at Springfield Township ArtsConnect Arts Center at 9158 Winton Rd, Building A, building behind the fire station.

  2. Class Cancellations & Weather Closings

    Don't wait to register! Classes may be cancelled to low registration or fill up before you have a chance to register. 

    Class cancellations due to weather will be made one hour prior to class start times and will be listed on the homepage of the ArtsConnect website at www.theartsconnect.us. To verify any weather closings, call 513-522-2108. In most instances, classes cancelled by weather will be made up by adding an additional class to the end of the session.

    Due to costs incurred planning for art classes, full refunds will only be issued when the ArtsConnect cancels the class. Class cancellations made within 10 business days of the class start date are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per student or transfer to a new session.  View the full class refund policy here.
