Kids Pottery Workshops

Kids can try their hand at a pottery workshop.  They can select from a variety of techniques such as handbuilding and pottery painting where they paint glaze onto a pre-fired clay piece.

All pottery pieces will be picked up at a later date once it has been fired in the kiln.  You will be called when your piece is complete.  Please allow up to 2 weeks.

KIDS POTTERY PAINTING WORKSHOPS

Pottery painting is where kids will learn to paint colored glaze onto a pre-fired, also called bisque piece of pottery.  Once the piece has been painted it will be fired in the kiln.  


Kids Easter Bunny Pottery Painting Workshop

Ages 6 and up

Sat, March 2, 2024

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

$40 non-member / $36 member fee


Kids will paint a bisque-fired ceramic bunny using colored glaze. Pick up your finished pottery in a few weeks. This is a perfect class to celebrate Easter. All supplies are included.

Class Cancellations & Weather Closings

A minimum of four students must be enrolled for the session prior to the stated deadline for the class to take place (maximum 12 students). The Springfield Township Senior and Community Arts Center follows Finneytown School District inclement weather closings. To verify closings, call 513-522-2108. 


Due to costs incurred in planning for art classes, full refunds will only be issued when the Arts Council cancels the class. Class cancellations made within 10 business days of the class start date are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per student. Refunds will be made by check, not to a credit card. To notify us of a cancellation, please send an email to artsinfo@springfieldtwp.org.
