Music, Mind and Body Workshops contain a wide-range of topics that help enrich your life. Some workshops teach you a musical skill while other workshops improve your mental and physical capabilities. Now’s your chance to try something new! Most workshops are 1-day classes held on Saturdays. Some workshops however can be 2 - 3 classes long. Please make sure to check the dates of each class.

Join local author, Gregory Peterson, to learn what it takes to be a published author. This will be an interactive class. If you are working on a project, bring it! If you are thinking about starting one, then let’s do it now! We will talk about the creative process and the business of publicity. Online option.
In this 3-day course, learn the power of audacity by creating audio/visual digital projects. Audacity is a free program used to manipulate sound. Learn to do voice-overs, song mixes, multi-track recordings, and much more. Bring a laptop, headphones, or earbuds and your favorite MP3 audio files to use in your project. Learn from the best! Kelly Richey has been touring, recording, and teaching for over 30 years. Her 90-minute group lessons will take the beginner, intermediate, or advanced students to the next level no matter what their skill level or background may be. Kelly delivers expert instruction tailored to meet the needs of her individual students so that they can achieve their full potential. The fee includes 30-day enrollment to Kelly’s online lessons for daily practice. Workshops are once a month. Sign up for all four workshops for just $140.
Our certified art therapist, Dr. Sharon Doering, will guide you in creative techniques to improve your focus and attention to detail. Participants will do several short creative and rewarding art projects. They will learn relaxation and meditation techniques to help with everyday stress. Learning mindfulness techniques can improve your overall attitude toward life. All supplies included.
Learn how to present a radio show. You will learn how to arrange music, operate an on-air board, and interview people for a show. The final workshop day will take place at the local Cincinnati radio station, WAIF, 88.3 FM. Please bring a laptop, if you have one. All 3 classes included in the fee.
A minimum of six students must be enrolled for the session prior to the stated deadline for the class to take place (maximum 12 students). The ArtsConnect Springfield Township Community Arts Center follows Finneytown School District inclement weather closings. To verify closings, call 513-522-2108.
Due to costs incurred in planning for art classes, full refunds will only be issued when the Arts Council cancels the class. Class cancellations made within 10 business days of the class start date are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per student. Refunds will be made by check, not to a credit card.
