2020 Renovations

Our two-story center has been a gathering spot for well over 78 years! In the 1940’s the north side of the building served as the German society’s Kolping Grove Club House. In 1992, Springfield Township purchased the property and expanded the floor plan for senior adult recreation. Now, the center will be taking on a new life to invite creative exploration for all ages.  The Springfield Township Senior Center is currently undergoing a renovation to become the ArtsConnect Center for the Arts. Once complete, the center will include a coffee bar, pottery studio, woodshop studio, three classrooms/meeting rooms, retail and gallery space.  ADA restrooms will be added to meet current standards. ArtsConnect will program the space with new classes and activities for all ages. Memberships, as well as studio passes to explore pottery and woodworking will inspire creativity and fun.

Watch here for updates on the renovation as it progresses!
