Iconic Ladies of Motown
P. Ann Everson-Price and her trio will take you on a musical journey, exploring the history behind the music! Celebrate the pioneers of Jazz and Gospel - which made way for the soulful sounds of Motown.

Iconic Ladies of Motown will have you tapping your toes and singing along. Take a step back in time to learn the struggles, tragedies, strength, courage and wisdom that brought legends like Diana Ross, The Supremes, Mahalia Jackson, Mavis Staples and Aretha Franklin to the top of the charts. Through this show, P. Ann illustrates that if you believe in yourself and remain committed despite the challenges, you can accomplish anything.

The Mt. Healthy High School choir, under the direction of Everett Moore, will interject youth and vigor into the show  proving the music of Motown transcends time and is alive and well. It will be a night to remember and one not to miss.

This special production is made possible with a partnership between ArtsConnect, the Mt Healthy School District and Cincinnati Arts Association. It is part of the Power of Her project, coordinated by ArtsWave and Procter & Gamble.
