Henna Painting - On Sunday, Rudolph's Barber and Tattoo Parlor will feature henna artists to share a timeless tradition. Henna is a small tree, and its leaves contain a dye which stains your skin - similar to turmeric or beets. The design may last up to 3 weeks. Baby oil can remove the design sooner. The use of Henna for body art is several centuries old at least. The people of ancient Egypt and India used this form of temporary tattoo for religious ceremonies, wedding festivals, and for simple body adornment.

Children and adults are all welcome to create these cards. Sponsored by Visiting Angels and The Springfield Township Fire Department Union.

Lines of Hope - On Sunday, the Gingergrams cabin will change over to share the tradition of writing prayer cloths. Write your well wishes, happy news or spiritual message on fabric. We will string these brightly colored cloths together and hang them throughout the village - to blow in the wind.
