The ArtsConnect Kids Drawing & Painting for children ages 7 - 13, presents the opportunity for participants to explore the visual arts in surprising, fun, and creative ways. The curriculum combines relevant topics integrated with skill development in various mediums. Students will do several drawings and paintings. The themed lessons are developmentally appropriate for this age group.
ArtsConnect offers an online option for those not ready to do in-person classes yet. We will have a camera set up during class so students can join the class from their home. Participants will need to download the free program- Zoom prior to the beginning of the session. The instructor will email students an invitation link each week. Supplies for the class will be available for pick up the week before the sessions begin.
When registering for the class you will need to select which method of participation you want: in-person or online.
It is taught in the Art Room at the Community Art Center in Springfield Township on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
No class on Nov. 23 due to Thanksgiving break.
The cost is $72 for non-members and $64.80 for members per 6-week session. A $7 supply fee has been added as supplies are provided.
