All kids can learn how to sew by creating fun pillows, capes, stuffed animals, bags, pins, and many more creative projects. Kids Sewing classes are taught in room B of the Community Art Center on Tuesdays from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. A $5 supply fee has been added as supplies are provided.
The class is taught by Priscilla Oehlschlaeger, also know as Ms. P, who has been teaching hundreds of children how to create art and how to sew for many years. Ms. P teaches the Sew Sew class for the Super Saturday Program at Walnut Hills during the school year and the Pyramid Hill Summer camp entitled Art Around Town. She also teaches Upcycle art classes, using only recycled materials, for the Cincinnati Recreation Center and leads birthday parties with art activities.
