Programs For Senior Adults

The Springfield Township Senior and Community Arts Center offers a variety of programs, activities and educational opportunities for the senior community, age 55 and older during the day and family programs during the evenings and weekends. The facility offers a library, gift shop, arts and crafts room and a fully equipped woodshop.

Hours of Operation For Senior Services 

The Senior Community Center is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday thru Thursday; 9:30 a.m. - Noon on Friday.

    Holiday Hours:

    November 19 - 23 - Closed

    December 24 - Jan 1 - Closed

    Hours vary for scheduled family activities.

Senior Memberships

Senior Center Membership (ages 55+)
Membership has its privileges! Become a member of the Senior Center today and enjoy activities throughout the year. As a member, you will have access to the Springfield Township Senior Center Tuesday - Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Fridays 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

Members may use the art room, woodshop and library whenever there is not a scheduled activity. As a member, you will enjoy a variety of scheduled programs that are included in your annual membership dues. A substantial discount is also awarded to members for various fee-based presentations and programs. Your membership also includes a monthly newsletter, e-mail updates and meetings to keep you informed of the programs and opportunities Springfield Township has to offer.

How can I become a member?

Any individual 55 and over is welcome to become a member of the Springfield Township Senior Center.

 Springfield Township Residents 55 and Over $20/year
 Non-Residents 55 and Over $25/year

 Springfield Township Resident Lifetime Member Ages 55-74 $150
 Springfield Township Resident Lifetime Member Ages 77 & Over  $100
 Non-Resident Lifetime Member Ages 55-74  $200
 Non-Resident Lifetime Member Ages 75 and Over  $150

*Membership is valid for the calendar year in which it is purchased. Yearly membership rates are prorated beginning July 1.

Members of the Senior and Community Arts Center receive printed monthly newsletters with information on classes events and activities hosted by the Center.
