Volunteering With ArtsConnect
Volunteers are an important resource in our community. They bring renewed enthusiasm and help keep costs for community programs and events down. If you are seeking a creative outlet for your free time or would like to volunteer for a project that uses your skills and training, then ArtsConnect™ is looking for you!
ArtsConnect™ has many opportunities for you to share your talents, skills and gifts through community programs. At this time, we are seeking support in fundraising, grant writing, marketing, volunteer recruitment, memberships, event prep work, event staffing, teacher assistants, graphic design and technical assistance for concerts and dinner theaters.
Volunteers Needed For Community Events:
ArtsConnect is looking for volunteers for many of our larger community events. Community service credits are offered for high school students. To volunteer for an event, please create an account (parent account for under 18) by signing up for the event you are volunteering for. A waiver will be sent through email and must be signed prior to working an event. Through our new system, volunteers will receive an approved volunteer card that they can keep for hours to be tracked.
Sign up for the event you would like to volunteer for: 1) SIGN UP FOR A VOLUNTEER ID CARD
A volunteer ID card puts your volunteer waiver on file for 2 years, so a paper form is not needed at each event. Volunteers under the age of 18: A parent account must first be created in order to sign up for a volunteer ID card. The minor account can then be added as a family member under the parent account.
To sign up for a volunteer ID card - create account first, then go to the catalog to order a FREE volunteer ID Card. You will be prompted a few questions and a receipt will be generated. We will mail your ID card to you after we process it - or it can be picked up at the first event you volunteer for. For assistance, call 522-2108.
